Use solar energy and save!
This program offers financial incentives for the acquisition and installation of solar air and/or water heating systems according to the terms and conditions established by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) for its ecoENERGY for Renewable Heat program.
Financial assistance from the Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF)1
- The EEF offers a rebate of $1 per cubic metre of natural gas saved, calculated using simulations, in addition to the financial assistance from the NRCan ecoENERGY program.
- The maximum rebate granted is $ 100,000, up to a maximum of 50 % of the cost of the project. The costs admissible are ones needed for the setting up of a functional solar heating system.
Are you eligible for this program?
Eligible are Gaz Métro customers who own or rent commercial, industrial, institutional or multi-unit buildings with four or more units and whose heating, air or water, is supplied by natural gas, with the exception of customers subject to Tariffs 4 and 5.
